AC Milan vs Juventus prediction, betting tips & odds

Kick-off: 1700, 08/10/2022

Stadium: San Siro

TV: BT Sport

AC Milan and Juventus have both yet to really find any great rhythm so far this season and Saturday’s Serie A clash could be a cagey affair.

These teams drew both meetings in Italy’s top flight last term and it would be no surprise to see them share the spoils again at the San Siro.

We reckon 12/5 for a draw is where the value lies with our opening AC Milan vs Juventus prediction.

AC Milan Odds

Defending champions Milan were unbeaten in their first six domestic fixtures, the pick of the results being a 3-2 derby win over Inter.

However, the Rossoneri were held to a draw by Atalanta and Sassuolo and then went down 2-1 at home to Napoli prior to the international break.

Stefano Pioli’s side returned to action with a slightly strange 3-1 success at Empoli, where the deadlock was only broken on 79 minutes and three goals came in stoppage time.

Milan were then brought down to earth with a 3-0 Champions League loss to Chelsea in London.

Pioli said his players were “hurting” after that game and challenged them to respond, stating: “This being a heavy defeat has to make us react quickly.

“We’re hurting but that’s going to give us even more determination and more focus when we prepare for the next game, which is going to be very difficult.”

Milan also dropped points in Europe when drawing 1-1 away to RB Salzburg, before beating Dynamo Zagreb 3-1 on home turf.

We just don’t feel that the Rossoneri are quite firing on all cylinders and 4/1 for a draw at half-time and full-time appeals from the AC Milan vs Juventus odds.

Juventus Odds

After winning nine straight Italian titles, Juventus have been only fourth for the past two seasons and were 16 points adrift of Milan last term.

The chances of them getting back on top looked slim after a 1-0 loss at Monza left them with just two wins from seven domestic outings.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side were also beaten by PSG and Benfica in the Champions League during a very shaky September.

The Bianconeri received a welcome boost when seeing off Bologna 3-0, though, and followed up with a 3-1 triumph over Maccabi Haifa in Europe.

Adrien Rabiot returned from a month-long injury for those games and bagged a brace of goals in midweek.

Serbia forward Dusan Vlahovic has been in good form with five Serie A strikes so far, while Poland front man Arkadiusz Milik has three.

There is no doubt the current Juve side is a level below the quality they had a few years ago, but it is still packed full of experienced internationals.

Vlahovic has benefited from the service provided by Angel Di Maria and 21/10 for him to net at any time is our final AC Milan vs Juventus prediction.
