England U17s can keep the pressure on World Cup group leaders Uruguay with a win over Canada and most football betting fans will expect his side to do exactly that.

Everton’s Hallam Hope put England in the driving seat against Rwanda, before Raheem Sterling, who recently swapped QPR for Liverpool in a deal that could rise to £5 million, sealed the win late on.

This impressive display sees England priced as odds-on favourites to beat a Canada side that will lack the experience of John Peacock’s young charges.

bwin prices the Young Lions at 1/4 to win the match, while Canada are seen as rank outsiders at 8/1 and the draw is priced as a 4/1 shot.

While odds of 8/1 could put a number of football betting fans off, a look at England’s recent form suggests Canada could be in with a shout if they play to their full potential.

Before their 2-0 win over Rwanda in the opening game, England had won just one of their previous four, losing to Holland and Denmark, drawing with France and securing a 3-0 victory over Serbia.

However, should the gulf in class that is there on paper between Canada and England transfer to the pitch then anything less than a win for Peacock’s young men looks unlikely.

This could tempt a number of fans to give Sean Fleming’s side a helping hand with bwin’s handicap betting market.

By starting the game with a 1-0 lead, Canada are priced at 13/5 to secure an unlikely win.

The same starting scoreline sees the draw priced at 27/10 and England’s winning odds move to 39/50.

Placing bwin’s free £25 wager for new customers on this latter bet would see punters win returns of £44.50.

That said, with England still odds-on despite a one-goal deficit, the goal bet markets could attract a lot of attention.

Backing the game to end goalless is seen as an outside bet at 25/2, while opting for exactly one, two or three goals is priced at 9/2, 14/5 and 29/10 respectively.

Bwin also has football betting odds available for those expecting the floodgates to open for England, with exactly four and five or more goals both offering odds of 17/4.

With this in mind, some fans could look to place a wager on a heavy win for England and at odds of 33/2, a 4-1 victory for the Young Lions looks to be the pick of the bunch.
