Six places for Euro 2012 are set to be decided over the next week as the qualification process reaches its climax, while eight teams will be put through to the play-offs.
Alongside the two hosts, four other teams have already qualified for next summer’s competition.
Joining Poland and Ukraine at the showpiece are Germany (Group A), Italy (Group C), The Netherlands (Group E) and Spain (Group I).
The best runners up and the winners of groups B, D, E, F, G and H are still to be decided, although The Netherlands are assured of either top spot in Group E or the best runners up position.
This means there are six places to be confirmed between now and Tuesday evening.
