Odds: Lyon 53/100, Draw 31/10, Everton 23/4

Kick Off: 1800, 02/11/2017

Stadium: Stade de Lyon

TV: BT Sport

Everton are facing an early exit from the Europa League when they travel to Lyon, having picked up just one point from their first three Group E games.

The Toffees will be out if they lose to the French outfit for the second time and Atalanta avoid defeat against Apollon Limassol.

We expect the Merseysiders to make a fight of it, but 2/1 for Les Gones to win and both teams to score is top of our Lyon vs Everton betting predictions.

A Look At Lyon’s Betting Odds

The same bet gave us a 15/4 pay-out in the opening encounter between these sides at Goodison Park, when former Chelsea midfielder Bertrand Traore bagged a neat 75th-minute winner in a 2-1 triumph.

France forward Nabil Fekir had earlier struck from the penalty spot, while ex-Manchester United winger Memphis Depay hit the crossbar with a deflected free-kick in an entertaining encounter.

Lyon reached the semi-finals of this competition last season and have every incentive to go one better this term, with the final scheduled to take place at this venue.

As well as beating the Toffees, they have prevailed in their last three Ligue 1 fixtures, including when giving us three winning tips in a 3-2 triumph over Monaco.

Depay recently hit a hat-trick in a 5-0 thrashing of Troyes and Fekir has netted five times in three matches, so their big guns up front are firing.

Looking at the Lyon vs Everton odds, 11/10 for a home win and over 2.5 goals catch the eye.

A Look At Everton’s Betting Odds

Everton are without a win in seven games, losing the last four, with caretaker boss David Unsworth in charge of two straight defeats after stepping in to fill the void left by Ronald Koeman’s dismissal.

There were some encouraging signs in a 2-1 EFL Cup loss at Chelsea and the Toffees did enjoy plenty of possession in the second half of a 2-0 Premier League defeat at Leicester.

However, an ageing first-choice defence has looked vulnerable this term, while the potential replacements are too inexperienced if Unsworth opts to make changes ahead of Sunday’s crunch home clash with Watford.

We’re completing our Lyon vs Everton betting tips by taking 3/1 for the hosts to prevail 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 in the multiple correct score market.
