A Look at Manchester United’s Betting Odds:

Manchester United’s current fixture list is fairly demanding. In a six-day period they have to negotiate Premier League road trips to Liverpool and Chelsea, with this Europa League clash with Fenerbahce sandwiched in between.

Man Utd’s odds to beat Fenerbahce are 53/100 and the dilemma for Jose Mourinho is whether he can afford to rest players here. The Turkish club currently top Group A in the Europa League and a defeat for the Red Devils would put them up against it in terms of progressing further in the competition.

Wayne Rooney is one of those likely to start after his run of games on the bench, as is Juan Mata after being an unused substitute against Liverpool.

The latter ranks second for shots on target for the Red Devils this term behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic and may be a promising bet to open the scoring. Three of his last five Man Utd goals have broken the deadlock.

A Look at Fenerbahce’s Betting Odds:

It has been a funny season for Fenerbahce to date, collecting only nine points from their opening seven Turkish top-flight games to go with their four in this competition.

They do have Robin van Persie at their disposal if selected by Dick Advocaat and much of the pre-game shenanigans will revolve around the Dutch striker’s return to Old Trafford.

The Man Utd v Fenerbahce betting positions Van Persie’s current club as the 11/2 outsiders, with the draw available at 16/5. With Man Utd expected to rotate, the 6/4 double chance on Fenerbahce or the draw may look attractive to some.

However, they are not without injury problems of their own, with influential midfielders Ozan Tufan and Salih Ucan out.
