The least-fancied side left in the Europa League are in action tonight, with SC Braga taking on Dynamo Kiev at the Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium.
The Portuguese side are 16/1 outsiders to lift the Europa League trophy at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on May 18th.
Dynamo, on the other hand, are 6/1 fourth-favourites and are priced at 21/50 to progress to the semi-finals.
Braga chances downplayed
Braga coach Domingos Paciencia also believes the Ukrainian side has a good chance of winning the competition outright and has attempted to paint his own team as the underdogs going into the match tonight (April 7th).
Even so, the man who masterminded a win over Liverpool in the last round is not about to let his charges sit back and defend and has promised to attack from the outset.
“We’re not going to play for a draw or get preoccupied with not conceding,” he commented.
“Our goal is to win, and it’s essential we score.”
With this in mind, a successful £10 bet on Braga to score more than one goal would return £55.
However, Braga will do well to score against a Dynamo side who have kept six consecutive clean sheets.
Another factor working against the Portuguese side is that, for all of Paciencia’s talk of attack, they have failed to score in four of their last European away games.
As such, Dynamo could be good bets for a 2-0 win, which is priced at 11/2.
Dynamo’s attacking threat
At the other end of the field, Dynamo Kiev boast one of the all-time leading goalscorers in European club competition history in Andriy Shevchenko.
That said, it is his teammates Artem Milevskiy and Oleh Gusev who have carried Dynamo’s biggest attacking threats in the Europa League so far this season.
Milevskiy has bagged five goals in the competition to date, while midfielder Gusev has four goals from his nine appearances this campaign.
A £10 stake on Oleh Gusev to score for Dynamo Kiev against Braga would return £33. New customers can register here to receive a £25 free bet.
