This is a tale of two struggling clubs. Burnley finished a decent eighth in the Championship last time out but have yet to register a win in three league games season, conceding five goals in the process.
Meanwhile, Barnet continue to flail in the lower reaches of League Two after surviving the drop by a solitary point last season.
Despite both lacking form, Burnley are two divisions higher and clear favourites to win at 12/25. Barnet need a small miracle to win the game at 11/2, with a draw priced at 16/5.
But with Burnley having started slowly, it might take a while for their superiority to show, making a flutter on a draw/Burnley win in the halftime/fulltime market look very interesting at 333/100.
Value could also be found by concentrating on the number of goals scored.
Both teams are leaky at the back – having let in more than they have scored – so expect more than 3.5 goals at 29/20.
Does this leave Barnet without hope? Few seasons pass without giant-killing antics in the cup.
With ever-growing emphasis on league placing for revenue, cup games have become marginally less important for the bigger clubs.
Barnet, however, will see this game as a shot to nothing – a temporary escape from the worries of League Two survival.
While a carefree attitude might not be enough to help Barnet win in 90 minutes, you can get odds of 14/5 on The Bees advancing to the next round.
Alternatively, odds of a Barnet/Burnley halftime/fulltime at 35/2 offers great value.
A successful £25 free bet on Barnet to be winning at half-time before going on to lose would return £462.50.

That said, with Barnet struggling at both ends this season it’s difficult to see anything but a Burnley victory with perhaps a couple of goals to spare.
