The final games of the Champions League group stages can sometimes be tense, tight affairs as teams try their best to squeeze through to the last 16.
But at the same time, with some sides already through to the knock-out phase, it is also reasonable to expect some one-sided scorelines and at the very least, a decent number of goals.
Here, we run the rule over at strikers from Manchester United, Napoli and Lille who all look likely to assist in their sides’ efforts to advance.

Danny Welbeck to score against Basel @ 7/5
This is a game Manchester United simply cannot afford to be lose, otherwise they will crash out of the competition. With disappointing home draws against Benfica last time out and the first game against Basel, they have been left in a straight shoot-out with the Swiss team for a spot in the knockout stages.
However, United are set to be without Javier Hernandez, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen through injury, while Wayne Rooney is on a poor run of form which has seen him go nine Premier League games without a goal.
This leaves young English starlet Danny Welbeck, who has really matured after his loan spell at Sunderland last season, netting six goals already this season.
He should have had a seventh in the 1-0 win at Aston Villa last weekend and looks hungry again after coming back from a muscular injury sustained on England duty. It’s about time United found their shooting boots and Welbeck looks well placed to cash in this evening.
Edinson Cavani to score against Villareal @ Evens
Napoli were the Pot 4 side everyone wanted to avoid in the draw, and for very good reason. They have made a hugely impressive Champions League debut, having only lost to Bayern Munich, while also being the only team to take a point away from the Germans.
They go into the game against Villarreal knowing a win will guarantee qualification and they just have the man for the job in Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan grabbed a brace in the stunning 2-1 win over Manchester City on matchday five which has left the Premier League leaders staring elimination in the face.
Having scored 11 goals so far this season to add to his tally of 33 goals last term, Cavani is a huge threat for any defence. And with Villarreal yet to pick up a point and likely to field a shadow side as they have nothing to play for, the Napoli hitman looks a dead cert to hit the back of the net.
Moussa Sow to score against Trabzonspor @ Evens
Lille have so far struggled to replicate the form which took them to the Ligue 1 title last term. After losing a key player in Gervinho, who moved to Arsenal over the summer, they are currently sitting fifth in the league. However, things are looking better in the Champions League, even if they are third in Group B ahead of tonight’s final matches. They can reach the last 16 as runners-up by beating second-placed Trabzonspor at home due to their superior record over CSKA Moscow, who sit alongside them on five points.
One player they can rely on for goals is Moussa Sow. Top scorer in France last season with 25, and having scored eight already this season, it’s easy to see why the Senegalese forward is so sought after by Premier League clubs. While Trabzonspor have performed surprisingly well since replacing Fenerbahce in the competition, Lille will fancy their chances of winning and at evens, you should fancy Sow’s chances of scoring.
