Everton and Brighton both failed to score in disappointing FA Cup defeats over the weekend but their recent Premier League form is solid.
The Toffees picked up 11 points from five games before a 2-1 loss at Manchester City, while Albion beat Bournemouth and drew with Chelsea in their last couple of top-flight fixtures.
Based on some strong stats, our first Everton vs Brighton prediction is for both teams to score at 3/4.
A Look At Everton’s Betting Odds
Everton were left to rue missing several good early chances when going down 1-0 to a much-weakened Liverpool outfit at Anfield in the cup.
Nearly 8,000 visiting fans were left furious at an insipid hour of play after that promising start, though.
“Of course, no-one is happy when you lose and are out of the cup,” said Gylfi Sigurdsson. “Everyone associated with the club – fans, staff, players – are disappointed with the result.
“I think we have only got ourselves to blame, not to have taken our chances in the first half. It’s very disappointing.
“We’ve just got to make sure we continue the form we had in the Premier League in the last couple of weeks and try to finish off the season strongly.”
Much of the positivity built up during a good run in the top flight under Duncan Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti was lost at Anfield, but a bright opening here would help.
Their next opponents do tend to start slowly, so 27/20 for the Toffees to lead at half-time takes the eye from the Everton vs Brighton odds.

A Look At Brighton’s Betting Odds
Brighton made seven changes for their cup tie with Sheffield Wednesday, but few fringe players boosted their hopes of more game time in a 1-0 home defeat.
“It was a chance to impress, so it’s disappointing,” centre-back Shane Duffy told the club’s official website.
“It is going to hurt for a couple of days, but we have to regroup next week and concentrate on the Premier League.
“A lot of players wanted to put their name in the hat for Everton, but we have to pick ourselves up and produce a reaction.
“We normally get that after a defeat and I’m sure we’ll get one.”
To be fair, Albion have been competitive in most of their Premier League away matches this term, scoring in the last six such fixtures.
The Seagulls have featured in four 1-1 draws overall, including when facing Chelsea on New Year’s Day, and 13/2 for that scoreline to come up again here completes our Everton vs Brighton betting tips.
