Everton enjoyed a double boost at Manchester City on Saturday and now look a value bet to see off Brighton at Goodison Park.
The Toffees took a surprise point off the champions and were buoyed by key forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin coming through his return from injury.

Everton had been unfortunate to go down 2-1 to Wolves at this venue, getting caught with a stoppage-time sucker punch when pressing for a winner.

“I think the end of the Wolves game wasn’t a good feel in the stadium, but now hopefully the performance (against City), the fans can be happy that we came and got the point.”
Everton dug themselves out of a hole with five wins out of their final 12 games last term, all by a one-goal margin.

Brighton have struggled for consistency since Graham Potter left and followed up a good 3-1 win at Southampton by losing 4-2 at home to Arsenal.
Admittedly, the Seagulls didn’t go down without a fight versus the Gunners, with Kaoru Mitoma and 18-year-old Evan Ferguson netting.
It could have been closer but for VAR ruling out an 89th-minute effort by Albion and head coach Roberto De Zerbi said: “It was a strange game.
“We suffered four goals at crucial moments, especially the first and last goals, but I think we played a good game against a fantastic team.
“I’m sad for the result, but not for the quality of our play, our attitude and our bravery.
“We closed the game with a lot of very young players, but I can’t say anything bad of them or the performance.”
Albion will come to play and shaded a five-goal thriller here last term, but they had lost on four previous visits, including 4-2 in October 2020.
