Swansea have got off to a good start in their bid to bounce straight back up to the Premier League and can maintain the momentum with a third straight win at Birmingham.
The Blues picked up just one point from their opening two Championship fixtures and crashed out of the EFL Cup when beaten 2-0 by Reading on Tuesday night.
We reckon 27/20 for an away victory is a rock-solid bet and that is our first Birmingham vs Swansea prediction.

To be fair, Garry Monk did make wholesale changes for Birmingham’s midweek cup loss, so there are excuses for that defeat.
However, these are still troubled times at St Andrew’s, with several senior staff leaving the club’s financial department this week.
On the field, City started out with a decent 2-2 draw against Norwich at this venue, but they were fortunate to only go down 1-0 at Middlesbrough, when Boro hit the woodwork on several occasions.
“We caused our own problems,” commented Monk. “The fighting spirit is there but we made it too easy for them in the first half.”
A Look At Swansea City’s Betting Odds
After taking three points at Sheffield United on the opening weekend, Swansea shrugged off an early penalty miss from Oli McBurnie to beat Preston 1-0 at Liberty Stadium.
Jay Fulton’s first-half header proved enough for the victory as the Swans recovered from seeing four first-choice players leave on transfer deadline day and an injury to keeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt.
“I am very proud of the players and the supporters,” beamed manager Graham Potter. “They were tremendous.”
Swansea still have a decent spine to their team, especially with Leroy Fer nearing full fitness and ready to partner Tom Carroll in midfield.
However, they did have only one senior centre-half available against Preston and handed a competitive debut to academy product Joe Rodon in defence.
With North End creating a few chances after the break, that makes 4/1 for an away win and both teams to score look tempting for our Birmingham vs Swansea betting tips.
Reading 2-0 BIRMINGHAM
