This weekend represents the last major stop for football betting fans before Euro 2012 in June, so it’s prime time to roll out a 10/1 accumulator.
Up this weekend we have the final day of Ligue 1, the Championship play-off final and the biggest match of the year, the Champions League final.
This accumulator touches on all of those events, and backing it at odds of 67/5 will secure winnings of £360.
Helpfully, bwin offers new customers a £25 free bet for signing up for an account, which makes for perfect accumulator fodder.
Bayern Munich to beat Chelsea @ 81/100
In a season of highs and lows for both sides, it all boils down to one match to see who will be champions of Europe. Chelsea have been through a managerial change and seen off holders Barcelona to get this far, but this looks an even bigger hurdle. Against them are suspensions to four key players and the fitness doubts over David Luiz and Gary Cahill.
Bayern have turned out to be second best in Germany this year, but they look to put that disappointment behind them. While they also have three suspended in Luis Gustavo, David Alaba and Holger Badstuber, they have home advantage and Mario Gomez in top scoring form. With Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery added into the mix, Bayern should have more than enough for a patched-up Chelsea defence so back the German side to be crowned kings of Europe.
Blackpool to beat West Ham @ 27/10
In the game that’s usually dubbed the biggest prize in football, West Ham and Blackpool fight it out to see who wins instant promotion back to the top flight. West Ham seemed to have had Blackpool’s number in the league this season, scoring four on both occasions, and they are rightly favourites to win with Sam Allardyce’s ever-popular brand of hoof-ball.
However, Blackpool have one of the most impressive play-off records in recent memory, having won nine of their last ten – and drawn the other – in this format. With that in mind, and the fact that Blackpool have won promotion in every play-off final they have been in, bank on the Tangerine army to march back into the Premier League.
Sochaux to beat Marseille – 23/20
The final matchday of the Ligue 1 season pits together two sides who have massively under-achieved from the season before. Marseille, who won the title only two years ago, can finish no higher than ninth this campaign. It’s been disappointment after disappointment for Didier Deschamps’ side, who somehow managed to reach the Champions League quarter-finals, and the former Chelsea man’s reign has come under intense scrutiny.
Sochaux were the surprise package of last season, managing to finish in a Europa League spot and offering a home to stars such as Marvin Martin. However, this season saw them go on a 13 game winless run that has seen them flirt with relegation to Ligue 2. With two wins in the last two games, Sochaux still need one more victory to ensure safety, and it’s an ideal time to face downtrodden Marseille.
