Arsenal will open the new Premier League campaign on a high after warming up for their home clash with Leicester by lifting the Community Shield.

The Gunners came from behind to celebrate a penalty shoot-out win over Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday, adding to an FA Cup final triumph over the Blues there in May.

Arsene Wenger’s side have beaten the Foxes by a one-goal margin at Emirates Stadium for the past three seasons and appeal at 27/10 to do that again in our Arsenal vs Leicester betting predictions.

A Look At Arsenal’s Betting Odds

Arsenal had debutant defender Sead Kolasinac to thank for equalising against Chelsea, but they did also show some promising signs up front, despite being without Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey.

Even if that trio remain unavailable, Wenger has plenty of attacking options, with new signing Alexandre Lacazette, who hit the post at Wembley, vying to play along with Danny Welbeck, Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Alex Iwobi.

Welbeck said of Lacazette: “He’s come into the team and he’s got a couple of goals in pre-season and hopefully he will when the season starts.

“It’s nice to be playing with him. With the competition for the forward line now, it’s a healthy debate for the manager to have and I think everyone’s looking forward to the new season.”

There was only one goal scored in two encounters between these teams last term, but the previous four produced 15 successful strikes.

We’re on the Gunners to win and over 2.5 goals in this game for our Arsenal vs Leicester betting tips.

A Look At Leicester City’s Betting Odds

Leicester go into the new campaign struggling to hold on to star winger Riyad Mahrez, but they have added Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho to a forward line already boasting Jamie Vardy.

Craig Shakespeare has also brought in defensive midfielder Vicente Iborra from Sevilla and Hull centre-half Harry Maguire to take his summer spending to almost £50million.

However, the Foxes will be without injured defender Robert Huth and the German veteran’s leadership qualities could be sorely missed in such a tough opener.

City lost away to five of the top six teams last term, but it is worth noting that they did manage to hit the back of the net in four of those fixtures.

Looking at the Arsenal vs Leicester odds, 37/20 for a home win and both teams to score takes the eye.
