Torpedo Zhodino and Ruh Brest will aim to continue their great form when they face off at the Torpedo Stadium in Sunday afternoon. Torpedo were top of the Vasshaya Liga ahead of matchday five before they were held by BATE Borisov while Ruh Brest have seven points in their maiden campaign in the top flight.

A battle between two high-flyers in the Vysshaya Liga will wrap up the action of matchday six as second-placed Vitebsk travel to fifth-placed Isloch Minsk on Sunday evening. Vitebsk sit level on 10 points with FC Slutsk and Torpedo Zhodino at the top of the table after five games but Isloch will look to make home advantage count.

FC Minsk’s hopes of ending their losing run will not get any easier as they travel to Slavia Mozyr on Saturday. Andrey Razin’s team’s impressive start to the season has evaporated after three defeats in a row and they have an abysmal record on the road.

BATE Borisov head to a ground where they have never won in the Vysshaya Liga as they seek to return to winning ways. The 15-time champions were held to a frustrating goalless draw at home to Torpedo last Saturday while Gorodeya are on a three-game winning streak.

These two teams meet for the third time this season with both looking for a turnaround in their fortunes. Champions Dinamo Brest and cup holders Shakhtyor Soligorsk sit 10th and 13th respectively after disappointing starts to the new Vysshaya Liga campaign.

Dinamo Minsk have the opportunity to heap more misery on Smolevichi when the teams go head-to-head on Friday. Smolevichi have yet to win in five matches since securing promotion back to the top flight.

Neman Grodno will hope their strong home record helps them end their winless streak when they host Energetik on Friday. Igor Kovalevich’s team have not won in three matches and take on an Energetik side that have suffered back-to-back defeats.

The bottom two of the Vysshaya Liga will face off in the battle of the promoted sides as they aim to record their first win of the season. Belshina, who topped the Belarusian First League to end their three-year exile from the top flight, and Smolevichi remain the only teams yet to post a victory this campaign.

Dinamo Minsk will hope to kick-start their 2020 Vysshaya Liga campaign when they host Neman Grodno in an intriguing battle in the Belarus capital. Dinamo have lost three of their opening four games of the season to sit in the relegation play-off position with Neman in 11th, just three places and two points better off.

Slavia Mozyr are in confident mood as they look to extend their unbeaten streak when they travel to Isloch Minsk on Saturday. Mihail Martsinovich’s team responded to an opening-round defeat with seven points from their next three games, including wins over two of Belarus’ heavyweights.

Energetik will aim to get back to winning ways when they kick off the fifth round of Vysshaya Liga fixtures against Gorodeya on Thursday. The Minsk outfit surrendered their 100 per cent start to the season last time out, while Gorodeya made it back-to-back wins to kick-start their campaign ahead of the trip to RCOR-BGU Stadium.

Belarusian powerhouses BATE Borisov will aim to continue their superb home form when they take on early front-runners Torpedo in Barysaw. BATE saw their 13-year dominance come to an end last season when Dinamo Brest clinched their maiden league title, with the 2020 Vysshaya Liga campaign starting disastrously with two opening defeats.

Dinamo Brest will look to continue their formidable record against Vitebsk when they go head-to-head on Saturday. The defending champions, who beat BATE Borisov to the title last term, are unbeaten in their last seven meetings.
