US Masters Odds

The Grand Slam in professional golf means winning all four major golf courses: the U.S. Masters at Augusta, the U.S. Open Championship, the Open Championship and the U.S. PGA Championship.

The US Masters at Augusta National is one of the most special tournaments in the world of golf. It is played every year at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. It is the only one of the four major men's tournaments played every year on the same course. Make bets on golf with Bwin.

Betting on the Augusta Masters

The Masters has the smallest field with between 90 and 100 golfers. Unlike other majors, there are no alternates or qualifying tournaments.

Now, after 36 holes, the top 50 players and ties make the cut, with the new rules eliminating the 10-stroke rule.

The 30 players who qualify for the season-ending PGA Tour Championship (all PGA Tour bets) will be invited. All players in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking as of January 1 will also be invited.

Recommended Betting on the Masters

The Masters will be played at a record length after the 11th, and the iconic 15th holes have been lengthened. The par-four 11th has been increased to 520 yards, and the par-five 15th is now at 550 yards, with the total distance officially measuring 7,510 yards.

Several players will enter Augusta National Golf Club confident they can get their first green jacket. That's the case with Jon Rahm, who won his first major at last year's U.S. Open and has been in shape to open the 2021-22 PGA Tour schedule.

Another candidate is Koepka, a four-time major champion, who has finished seventh or better in his last two starts at Augusta National.

Betting on the 2023 US Masters

There seem to be few things more difficult in professional golf than defending your championship. Only three players — Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods — have had the honour of entering the exclusive champions' locker room at Augusta in the tournament's rich history. In most cases, the defending champion doesn't even finish in the top 10 the following year, with Dustin Johnson being the latest to fall victim to this curse.

A question that is asked every year at this time is, will Rory McIlroy join the exclusive club of five winners of every Grand Slam? The Northern Irishman has not been able to grasp the coveted green jacket despite being in the mix on numerous occasions.

Aside from Johnson's win at the end of 2020, you could say that the players who had access to the exclusive Champions locker room at Augusta were somewhat of a surprise. Danny Willet, Sergio Garcia and Matsuyama were all far from favoured.
